Good news

GOOD NEWS! I am one class 5 down. Just one more to go.
Just wanted to share this beautiful news with you all :)

And share some pictures as of late..
We had an awesome time in Hawaii! Here are just a few pictures of the trip.
The first picture was a few weeks ago when I went down to Utah with a big group and we did baptisms in the Draper temple then went to Temple Square and shopped and had dinner and what not. It was fun!
Life is so good huh?
Also, got some ice cream today with Juline Wadsworth's sisters. Such fun to catch up with them.
Makes me miss Juline all the more. Can't wait for my little missionary to come home :)

As well, I want to share a couple of accomplishments of mine this week....
1) I successfully parallel parked my car in a very tight little spot...
and I was quite proud of myself. The reason being because I tried this a week or two ago and I failed miserably and had to find another spot. And I prided myself on being able to parallel park in my days at Poky High School.. so I'd been ticked off about it ever since then and needed to redeem! And redemption was mine.
2) I baked homemade bread!
If you know me, you know it is a rarity to find me in the kitchen. But I had an epiphany on Thursday night and I just decided it was time for me to acquire a few of these homey skills. And it's a better use of my time than many other things I choose. So I baked on Friday, and it turned out real good! The 3 loaves are already gone.

But the Saturday evening calls me away now, so I hope everyone has a fantastic Sunday and Valentines Day! Mine might be a bit boring, but what can you do? Haha
Oh, and in case you were wondering... No I did not eat all those loaves by myself :)

February already?!

I thought we'd start off with a good picture...Isn't this so quaint? I love it. Please don't freak out at the next one

Anyone know someone with teeth that look like this? Cause that's EXACTLY what I need. A WALL of tartar to clean off. Once I find 2 class 5's, I will have some peace. Until then, life is reaaaallly stressful. And I can only dream of riding my bike around. But let's not dwell on the nasty.. Here is my new hope. Someday. When I have a little extra cash..
Or do you like these better?
I rather like them both :)

Wishing for summer..

Can I just say how excited I am for warm weather? My goal this year.... find myself a little cruiser bike.
And go CRUISING!
Every night.
Some day I picture myself living somewhere warm...
Riding along the boardwalks and sidewalks...
With a beautiful male...
Absolutely loving my life.
Not that I don't love it already, I definitely do. But this is me right now...

FREEZING COLD. At 2 AM. Having our cars (mine and my 2 friends Brittany and Liz) buried by some funny boys.
Who then proceeded to steal the cars.
Scare the pants off us in my own house.
And give the cars back around 3 AM. On a school night.
Revenge is SWEET.

Kitchens

Alright, I know it's going to be a looong time until I have my own kitchen.
But for some reason lately my interest in kitchens is very acute.
I watch shows and check out the kitchens. I look up kitchens on the internet.
I know exactly what I want. The main criteria: White cabinets. I LOVE white cabinets.
They might get dirty quick, but that is a price I am willing to pay.

I just think black and white is so classy! Here are more I love..

Don't really know why I'm having such an interest in kitchens lately, but I hope I get to design my own someday.
Now I just need to learn to cook well.
My friends and I are going to start having a weekly cooking night... at least that is the plan. We spin the globe and wherever it lands is the theme for our cooking night. Our first theme?? Australia! Vegemite anyone?

Happy New Year!

image http://aceisbored.tumblr.com/post/2350380369/2010-is-swept-away-to-start-a-whole-year-of

Happy New Year everyone!! I honestly can't believe it's 2011. 2010 came and went so fast. It seems like time just keeps speeding up. Every New Years Day my family makes homemade ice cream. Our two favorite flavors are Peppermint and Orange Sherbet.
I don't care who you are, that is a great tradition.
It reminds me of when I was young. Every Sunday during the summer we would make ice cream with our neighbors, the Madsens. We'd invite another family from the neighborhood or ward to come too, and we'd sit outside and the parents would chat and the kids would run around and play. It was the BEST. I think back on those days with such fondness.
Okay I just read back over that and I sound like an eighty year old.
Nevertheless, I miss those days sometimes.
I've been thinking about this past year today. 2010 treated me wrong in so many ways, but I can't even dwell on the bad things that happened. Because despite the bad, it was filled with much more good. Sometimes I tend to let the bad drown out the good and I forget how blessed I am. One of my goals this year is to be unfailingly grateful. Grateful people are happy people, and everyone likes being around happy people.
So, let the good times roll folks!
Happy New Year!!
I hope 2011 treats everybody right.
I, for one, am spending my first day of the new year going roller skating at Deleta.
Totally pumped.
Oh and PS... Hawaii pictures on the way.

ALOOOOHA!

I think I forgot to mention.....
I may be having a little bit of a merrier Christmas than the general public.
Due to a few factors, which I will now outline.
My mom, dad, Mark, and myself
are kicking off the Christmas vacation with tickets to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert featuring David Archuleta. And if you know my mother, you will know she is very excited. As am I, I'll admit it. I have a little bit of a crush on him.
My mom keeps talking about the David Archuleta concert.
My dad keeps reminding her it's not his concert.
Doesn't matter, it's going to be great no matter who we are actually there to see.
Then on Friday morning, it's off to HAWAII!!!!
Instead of presents this year, we decided to take a trip. Since I've never been east of Colorado, or west of California, I am beyond excited.

I don't know what says Merry Christmas better than surfing, snorkeling, and getting brown skin, but if you know of something, let me know. Maybe I'll try it out next year :)

1 down, 1 more to go..

MIX of emotions right now.
Just took my last final ever.
Since we take national boards in March, they consider that our finals seeing as how it is THEE most important test, and it takes a solid 8 hours.  They say if we can pass that, we can pass their measly old finals. I say amen.
It's a pretty great feeling, that is true. But I feel just a teeny bit...odd right now too. I'm growing up... and I know that sounds ridiculous. I'm 22, I'm grown. Or should be.  But some big decisions are coming my way real soon, and I mean big. There are pretty much no jobs for hygienists right now in Idaho anywhere, and I really want (and need) to work. Sooo, that leaves me with the options of
A) moving
2) Begging/Bribing some dentists here for a job
D) Marrying a very rich man and traveling the world instead

Now option D is very tempting, but where I don't happen to know any 22 year old millionaires, and I'm not interested in 80 year old millionaires, I'm lookin at option A or 2. Probably option A.
Which is exciting but scary! But according to a good man...some of you may have heard of him... President Thomas S. Monson? :)
"The future is as bright as your faith"
I have a really beautiful life already, but it's time for a change and I feel that. So I'm looking forward to whatever the future brings!
But for now, HALLELUJAH my finals and this semester is OVER!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
