comings and goings

The comings and goings as of late: 

Comings: Rich and my 1 yr anniversary... can't believe we'll soon have been dating a year! Isn't he a gem? I am dating the cutest boy.

Comings: My dental convention in Utah in a few weeks. A full weekend of continuing education, free stuff, and reunition (probably not a word) with some of my dental hygiene girls. I'm excited. 

Goings: Horseback riding last Saturday. Drum roll please... I DID stay on this time! It was a raging success. I walked Bolt, directed him, and got on and off him on purpose all quite successfully. I even trotted. I probably should add that I only trotted for about 10 seconds before I felt like that was a good way to take a tumble, so I stopped that pretty quick. But my goal is to get comfortable enough to be able to do that. 

Goings: A trip to Utah a few weekends ago to visit my sister. We had the best time. We visited the Bean Museum, which I never went to when I was at BYU! It is seriously, so cool. All the animals in there were once living and have been preserved. They have elephants, lions, tigers, moose, sharks, holy cow you name it. So neat. We also played wife balance, ate delicious German Pancakes, checked out the Harley Davidson store, ate at CPK with Juline and Jamie, and watched lots of Modern Family. We also stopped at a gas station in Orem and guess who we ran into?

They became quick friends. 

So things have been going well! I'm on a city volleyball team and we lost our first game last week. We never lost last year, and is our only loss this year so far, so we were all fairly annoyed. But tonight is our next game and we plan to avenge our loss! Wish us luck!
