Soo today is a very important day.
Actually, the very important day was February 24th, which is when I drafted this post. But then I went on a date and never posted it. So pretend like you are reading this on February 24th :)
Today my best friend, Juline Ruth Wadsworth was born! (22 years ago of course).
Therefore I could not be more thankful for this day, February the 24th.
All day long I've been writing the date on grade sheets in clinic and every single time I'd think, aw Juline, it is her birthday today! Which sent pangs of longing through me.
I know this sounds pretttty ridiculous, but seriously. I miss the girl. Juline is the kind of friend that understands my every thought, makes me laugh when I'm having the worst day of my life (which has happened a few times now) and would talk to me when I couldn't talk back to her, making me feel like I wasn't this completely abnormal human being.
Basically, she is the bomb.
One of my very favorite quotes ever is by Marvin J. Ashton, and he says,
"Be one who nurtures and builds. Be one who has an understanding and a forgiving heart, who looks for the best in people. Leave people better than you found them."
If there is one person who has left me better than she found me, it's Juline.
But until October, I guess I will just have to allow the Koreans to have her all to themselves.
She's leaving tons more people better than she found them on her mission.
Love you Ju!! Happy birthday!
