yeeehaw

Alright people.
It is OFFICIAL......
I am thee absolute worst cowgirl there ever was.
Let me tell you a little story about my weekend.
So a certain boy and I decide we are going to go horseback riding, because his boss likes him to ride them and he hadn't in awhile. So he invited me to come along. I was excited.
I hadn't been horseback riding since I was like 10, so I have zero experience really.
We get there and start getting the horses ready and I am SUPER awkward... I have never even had a goldfish for a pet so I am awkward around all pets, especially big gigantic beasts that can kick and trample me right over if they wanted to.
So anyway, we get on the trail and things are going fine. The ground is wet and the horses keep sliding down the muddy hills and getting spooked though, so he actually had to jump off his horse not once, but twice. Don't get me wrong, this boy is a talented horse man. But nevertheless, he did fall off so I was feeling prettty good about myself.
But then, oh but then.
We start heading back and we're going up this hill. And he starts trotting and galloping on his horse.. and naturally my horse (I named him Jack... Jack and Jill. It was tender) follows suit. But Jack did not ask my permission if he could gallop, and he definitely should have because I have never galloped before. The saddle by this point was not very tight, and it starts slipping off the side of his back! So I am hanging on for dear life halfway off him as Jack gallops up the hill, and I knew I was never going to make it. And I was right.
THUD into the cold hard ground, right off Jack's back, on to my own back.
It was hilarious. Luckily it didn't hurt me at all. I just felt like a huge dork.
And I laughed hard for like 10 minutes.
Then I got home and told my mom, and she laughed even harder.
Jack and I are NOT best friends.
We are friends still though. Couldn't help but sort of love him anyway :)
I think for awhile I may stick to what I know and have already conquered though...
Now THIS I can handle!
