the bug

I think I've officially caught.... the bug. Not the flu bug. The travel bug. This past week I went to Colorado with my parents to help my brother and his wife move into a new house. I have not flown much in my entire life.. only twice up to this point. But I flew out of Pocatello, then to Salt Lake, then made it into Colorado Springs. On the way home we flew from Denver back to Salt Lake. Being in the Denver airport was kind of eye opening for me. It's ENORMOUS! The largest dwelling I have ever dwelt in for a few hours. I felt like this world class traveler. Which made me want to be a world class traveler! I kept picturing myself in Japan or Greece.. or dare I even say it because I don't want to jinx myself... Switzerland. I don't think there will be money in my budget to be much of a traveler til I'm probably 80. If ever. But it's nice to have dreams... and goals right?? I think the place I'd put first on my travel agenda wouldn't actually be Switzerland though. I have this resolution that I WILL someday go to Wimbledon, which makes England kind of a huge attraction. Speaking of Wimbledon, that takes me to tennis, which takes me to the French Open happening now. LOVE IT! I love tennis season. And I am hoping this guy takes home the title!
Go Rafa! :)

  1. You and your sister need to take a girls trip to Wimbledon 2015. I'll pay...with money that I bum off your husband. I've heard he's going to be Rich:).

  2. Ha ha. Funny.

I would totally love a girls trip to Wimbledon. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Your little narrative cracked me up...world class traveler in the Denver airport huh? Which is approximately 1 hr from Salt Lake. :)

  4. I'm totally in for a girls trip to Wimbledon as well. Fed is snooty these days.. he's in need of some humblin.

No matter how far Denver is from Salt Lake.. that number is by plane anyway. Driving is much longer :) And it was cool! We were in underground train tunnels.. all sorts of neat stuff. There was even a bird in the terminal, poor guy.
