it's too late

to apologize..... it's too late. yeah. it's too late....
alright you get it. or hopefully you did. (one republic)
Fortunately it's NOT too late actually for me to apologize
about my ugly blog design. Seriously, so sick of it.
But here I am, blog challenged and unable to make it look the
way I want. One day.. be excited...

So I don't have anything too exciting to report. Today was exhausting. I had quite the challenging patient at the end of the day and ended up staying like an hour more than I had planned. And after you've been at the office since 7 AM, that is not a welcome extension.

Here was my week:

Filled with fun, because Dr. Hancock went to Vegas for continuing ed credits. And don't be deceived, Lyla liked this. She was just shocked by the cold water. So anyway, I had from Tuesday-Sunday off work to play. And play I did. Went to the fair and watched pig wrestling... very interesting sport guys. I recommend you research it. The gist of it is this: Get the pig into the barrel the fastest, and you will win a prize. Definitely more fun for the people than it was for the pigs, attested to by the pigs' tremendous squeals and attempts to get away.

Each team had 4 members and can I just say, girls rule and boys drool. The girls totally kicked trash. Took them like 9 seconds to capture that pig and drop it in the barrel.

I also took my inaugural ride on THE GRAVITRON. Umm, so funny. I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. Trevor and Taylor were in hysterics practically, they were laughing so hard. You stand up not buckled into anything and just lean back against these pads, and then the spaceship-looking ride starts spinning soo fast that all you can do is stick to the pad. Your cheeks are flattened and drool flies. (Literally). (At least for me).  SO entertaining. I don't know if they have that ride at the Blackfoot fair, but you know I'll be on the lookout this year.

And this weekend, I head to West Yellowstone. Lisa, Emily, Katie, and I have the delightful opportunity to go to the playmill and watch this play. I've never seen it! I'm excited. I do love a good play or two.. or three. We'll just stay one night, but it will be a good time. Hope everybody else has an awesome week/weekend too!

  3. wow tay, thank you for that. I feel so much better that you don't think its TERRIBLY hideous, just a little hideous. HAha Jan, if I recall correctly, the only reason I got in the water in the first place was because the child's parents refused.
